We are proud to now ship all of our surfboards with Flexi Hex! A super eco, non-plastic way to ship boards that minimises any damages thanks to it’s genius design. It’s also fully reusable, so when you receive your board you can keep on using it. Great not just for shipping boards but also for travelling abroad or keeping your boards stored away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The honeycomb cardboard material provides 2cm of protection on the deck and underside of the board. The honeycomb structure displaces the pressure across the board and so doesn’t give way, providing solid protection across the entire surface. This is covered around the edge with 4mm cardboard which fully protects the rails and edges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ‘Mid’ size is great for us as the majority of our boards we stock are wider and thicker, so this covers all sizes and bases. These sleeves expand to 80cm wide (roughly 30″). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I want some!<\/strong> How many sleeves do you need?

<\/strong>1 sleeve is just over 3ft, so for a shortboard we’d recommend\u00a02 sleeves<\/strong>\u00a0to cover the top and bottom and they meet in the middle. Simply tape it up at the centre!

For longboards, 3 sleeves will cover up to roughly 9’2; 1 sleeve for the centre, and then 1 either side for the nose and tail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
